DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE

Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería-ACI (ISSN: 0718-8706) is a journal aimed at disseminating scientific and technological work in science and engineering (in different areas such as chemistry, physics, biotechnology, Materials, Polymers, Environment and Pollution, Simulation, Thermodynamics, Energy, among others). The journal also includes topics related to university teaching and education (science teaching, proposals for improving university teaching, teaching methodology, simulation in teaching, etc.). ACI is a forum for researchers to publicize the results of their research (supported by their respective institutions and government entities).

ACI Vision and Mission

Mission: To disseminate research carried out in different countries, providing Ibero-American teachers, researchers, and professionals with an international forum.

Vision: Through publications, to foster interaction between researchers, teachers, and professionals who publish, in order to exchange experiences, disseminate their research and proposals, form working groups, position the institutions in which they work, and contribute to solutions to the multiple problems facing countries.

Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería is an electronic (online) journal, peer-reviewed and serialized, backed by an international Editorial Committee, and is an open access publication. It accepts publications in both Spanish and English. The journal is published quarterly (four issues per year).

Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería adheres to the DORA Declaration (Declaration on Research Assessment) or San Francisco Declaration.
