Copyright, Conflict of Interest, and Ethical Commitment Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería (ACI)

The author grants all rights to the contribution to Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería - ACI, for its exclusive use upon submission of the article and its final publication. This copyright assignment implies that, regardless of the rights in different countries, languages, and forms of communication, the publisher will be the sole owner. The publisher guarantees you the right to reproduce the contribution in any book in which you are the author, provided that the corresponding credit is given in the book to the original publication of the contribution in Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería. This assignment allows the publisher to disseminate and disseminate your work to the international scientific community, in any manner deemed appropriate by both the institution and the author, always preserving the integrity of the author and the publisher.

The author guarantees that the contribution is original, that its content does not contravene the regulations or legal issues of other countries, and that it does not infringe property or copyright. The author of the article is solely responsible, and the publisher shall not be held liable or harmed in the event of any claim. The submitted article must not be copyrighted and must not be transferred to other journals. If plagiarism, data manipulation, or any other type of inappropriate conduct for a publication is found, the article will be deleted from our databases. A communication will be sent to the author and their institution informing them of the situation.

Conflict of Interest

In general, conflict of interest may arise if the author has any type of financial relationship with one or more companies (as an employee, consultant, owner, or other person). A conflict of interest may also exist if the author has any type of personal relationship, academic, or intellectual competence that could affect the preparation of the manuscript.

Therefore, authors submitting articles for consideration for publication in Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería must report and/or acknowledge any conflict of interest, whether financial or otherwise, that may affect or bias the manuscript. It is the author's responsibility to inform the editor of any conflict of interest, and they must declare it when submitting their article. The publisher is not responsible for the veracity of the information provided by the authors and is therefore exempt from all liability for any situation that may arise.

It is important to specify any financial support received (institutional, external organizations, or others) or personal support that made the manuscript possible (this should be mentioned in the Acknowledgments.

Ethical commitment

The article submitted to the journal's publication process must not have been published, nor be under consideration for publication in other journals (as indicated in the Copyright Assignment). Authors must send a letter stating that their work is original and has not been considered or published elsewhere. The cover letter to the Editor, in addition to presenting the submitted work for possible publication in the journal, must also include the following text:

« The author of this work guarantees that the contribution has not been published elsewhere, either in whole or in part, and that no publication agreement has been made elsewhere. Therefore, the article submitted for submission to the journal Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería is original and complies with the Copyright Assignment stipulated by the journal«.

This Letter of Presentation and Ethical Commitment-ACI must be signed by the author responsible for the publication (representing the authors of the article).

Open Access Policy and License to Use

This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle of making research (content published in this journal) freely available to researchers, scholars, students and the general public in order to disseminate the exchange of knowledge globally.

Therefore, the journal adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) on the right to open access to scientific communication, which is also in line with the Berlin Declaration.

Regarding the licensing of the articles, it is hereby declared that the contents of Avances en Ciencias e Ingeniería (OA) are protected under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. This means that the material published by the journal may be distributed, copied, and displayed by third parties if the respective credit is given to the journal. No commercial benefit may be obtained, and derivative works must be licensed under the same license terms as the original work or the license for use of the articles.

This license lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation.
